  • This workshop aims to bring together faculty members, postdocs, students working on cosmic reionization, Hydrogen 21-cm fields in various institutes, universities in India. This is also a part of our recent initiatives to work as a group. This is particularly important as the Giant Metrewave Radio Telescope (GMRT) is currently being upgraded and India joined the global initiatives to build the world’d largest and most powerful radio telescope i.e, participating in the Square Kilometer Array (SKA) project which aims to build the world’s largest and most powerful radio telescope. One of major goals of the workshop is to discuss past and ongoing works being carried out by the Indian community on the topic, identify projects where the Indian community can work together as a group, chalk out future plans in details. Equal attention will given both to theoretical modelling as well as observations. In addition to presentations by the participants a significant time will be devoted for discussion, sharing expertise, resources and collaboration formation. We hope to make this workshop a regular event with a frequency twice a year.
